HJ Honor Membership Pin

I've had this pin for 20 years, and just got around to properly photographing it. It has a 4-digit stamped issue number, while all the other markings are raised. I have a good feeling about it, but I know there are some good repros out there... I would appreciate opinions from those in the know.

I bet it is "8651". Some collectors have doubts about these badges. I just wonder why. The are perfectly made. The only strange thing is the serial numbers probably going from 8000 to 9999. With other manufactures the numbers going into all kind of directions. From low to very high. I keep a record of the serial numbers on HJ Ehrenzeichens and untill now it keeps a weird thing.

This type of badge is encountered with digits wide applied and more tight applied. Some think only one of the two are good. But assume that whe comparise the stippling pattern (haven't done that yet) of the two different types and they are a match. How can we still say they are fake?
