Early SA Collar Tab???

Can anyone tell me what this tab is?

Well first off its an early tab since it has a metal pip rather than later standard embroidered pip..Ita a Brigadefuhrer tab from Berlin brandenburg hence teh silver leaf and black backing.It should have silver piping too but its been removed or never finished.

Early Brigadefuhrer tabs were 2 oakleaves and a metal pip. 3 oakleaves and a metal pip Gruppenfuhrer. Value of $5.00 has to be a joke.

I agree--I'd pay at least $10.
Do you have any photos of the reverse? The earlier tabs are somewhat tough to tell, especially from a photograph, as the embroidery details were not standardized as later examples were.

Nice, two acorn variant. There's a three acorn embroidered with metal pip on p.74 of Collector's Guide to Sturmabteilung Insignia by Fuller.
