      The one you posted is a 'generic' State eagle used as Brig says by the Post Office but also by the Forestry authorities etc.

      It's interesting how a lot of these 'State' eagles were RZM marked, although they had nothing to do with the Nazi Party.

      As a general point, 'State' eagles (Police, Govt. etc.) face to the viewer's left, while 'Party' eagles (SA, SS etc.) face to the viewer's right. That's how SS sleeve eagles always seem to 'face backwards'! There were exceptions however, particularly the Wehrmacht,

        I'm a little confused. In the first pic is the smallest eagle a SA/SS? What do they go for?
