    BO march.

    Hi guys,

Is there anyone who could tell me more about this march, date etc? I suppose this took place in München towards the Feldherrenhalle. I can identify Sepp Dietrich, Hitler, Himmler proudly wearing their bloodorders.

    Thanks for taking a look,
    Giel

Yes, this march was held every year in Munich until 1944? on the 9th of Nov. in remembrance of the Putsch and it's Martyrs. The participants walked the same route through Munich to the FHH as the original marchers. I think this photo is from 1935 which was the dedication of the Ehrentempels.

      Giel.

Nice photo. In addition to what Erich mentioned, your photo was taken on the Ludwigsbrücke... just a short distance from the site of the Burgerbräukeller and the beginning of the march.

Here's a shot I took on one of my trips down the path of the putsch march taken from roughly the same spot yours was, 70+ years earlier!

        Hello.

Is that Julius Streicher at the front?

          Hey Rob,
Did you purloin the pylons? Seriously, great work finding the same spot from which the original photo was taken.
And yes, that's Streicher in the lead.

              Erich-

Thanks! On one of my many "putsch route" walks I happened to stop on the bridge and shoot a few shots from that same angle and location... It was pure coincidence that they matched up!

                  Yes it is.

And Jakob Grimminger is carrying the blood flag right behind Streicher

                  Great Giel

I keep one outside the front gate, but I do still manage
to light it up once a year, even in these bad economic times.
Nice BF trooping photo with flat wreath top shown on edge

An associated and pertinent item (no longer in my possession). Hopefully, you can make out the writing: "March over the Ludwigsbruecke 9 November 1923".

I reckon that's Goering on AH right in the photo.
