    Hitler Bust with Silver

I'm just looking for any information on this type of bust with a silver swastika on front base. I have see similar ones but none with the silver emblem. My father-in-law (WWII Vet) received this item from a German officer in 1945. To the best of our knowledge this item has never been modified.

    Thanks,
    Randy Fokker

This looks like a "Zoll" small bust, common in the period, probably the swastika was added later(but period done) as a "presentation" piece, sometimes these type of busts can be found with small dedication plates fixed to their marble bases, they where used sometimes as presentation/trophys to political/civil organizations during the 1933-1945 period.

Of course since this was done after the manufacture of the actual bust and is not something with a dedication, name or date, is impossible(unless period photos of it liberation are available) to make a full positive statement that was period done....my personal opinion of course.
