I bought these today as FAKES from a vets daughter. She was shocked when I told her over half the stuff he had were fake that evidently he picked up here and there over the years. I just wanted to confirm my suspicions about these 2 pieces. thanks guys, Alex

I likewise don't see anything wrong, the lady would sure be even more shocked to read this thread.
Perhaps you could post the other rejects for evaluation.
It is of course not uncommon to see fakes mixed in with good items, many of them sitting in the same cigar box for decades.Comment
