          These did exist but they are not Blood Orders. These were sold to people on the aniv. of the Putsch. Some feel that these medals were given to the famlies of the Martyrs but there's no evidence of that. The ones that you usually see are silver.

            I forgot to mention that the medals shown look new and I'm not sure if these are original pieces.

              Mine is in bronze. I wounder who could afford one in gold, if they were sales pieces. I believe they were for the martyers families.

                Hi Bob, I was always under the belief that the families of the Martyrs were possibly given a mini version of the Blood Order and not the actual Order itself. I have never seen any of the Martyrs names in the lists of recipients of the 2nd pattern which would have covered the dead when the rules were expanded in 1938 for the awarding of the BO. Do you think that the families were also given the medal pictured in this thread?
