    Blood Order Collection Update

    Hi guys I had the pleasure of taking all my collection out from the bank vault last week in order to have them proffesionally photographed for an upcoming book. I took the opportunity to shoot a few of my own to share with the forum. Most of these are 1st pattern orders,I still have 3 second patterns out of the 10 in my collection. I did have 12/13 at one time but needed to sell some items in order that I could upgrade. In fact I have great pleasure in sharing with you my latest grouping,some of you would have already seen it on Craigs site ,here is the mans biography

    I had to sacifice a couple of lovely pieces for it but when will be the next time a Gaulieter and SS Gruppenfuhrer's Blutorden with a number under 50 becomes available?Also in the set is his Gold party bage,large and his WW1 medals.
    So here they all are,enjoy.

                            Great question ! I wish the same but started with these about 9/10 years ago.Since sold all my SS and other stuff to concentrate on these.

                            Love the sown ribbon on this example,strange set up. I think it was done this way to sit on his funeral pillow. He had a state funeral with Hitler in attendance so there should be pictures of it around.However I have struggled to find anything surfing the net so would be grateful if anyone comes across anything,

                              Jon, congrats on the new grouping and I'm glad that you were able to get it. You're right it was too hard to pass up a grouping to a Gauleiter and early member. Erich
