    NSFK besitz urkunde

The attached document is to a much larger group that I own to a Luftwaffe KC winner.

My question is what was the significance, if any, to this document, honorary etc.? Cruger, based on the other documents I have to him never served in the NSFK.

The wording on the document implies that there was some physical award along with this, is anyone aware if there was an award?

NSFK is way off my radar so appreciate your assistance.

    Regards

Its a small plaque {plaquette}presentation document for special achievements in the NSFK.If he was in the HJ he could have gotten this too HJ boys and Luft pilots all went through the NSFK schools I believe.Check bottom of page for examples at this below thread

      ....

This certificate was likely included in the lid of the case which also included a medallion. An example below.

          Perfect!!

          Thanks guys.

I know Cruger was not in the HJ but he did receive his pilots badge in 1935 so some time being trained by the NSFK is possible.

Thanks also for a great picture, I was really curious as to what this award looked like.

Based on the rank being Oberleutnant, your man was not in the NSFK but in the military, and received the plaque and document due to taking part in the Deutschlandflug 1937.

The above post was correct, the plaque is for the Deutschlandflug 1938. The award certificate is most likely one which was contained within the lid of another award given to the same gentleman. Neat stuff! Thanks for sharing the photos.
