Strange Political leader Tabs

Can anyone explain these tabs? They look original but unless I am color blind, they appear to be Kries piped on an Orts background????

I have questions so here is the first one:

What would be the explanation for these missing from the Organisation buch der NSDAP 1938?

Anyone with an earlier/later version, are these listed in the buch?

What is your take on the piping material?

Ive had a tunic that had the same color in blue just stitched on the collar, but no tabs, just exactly the same on the upper lapel. They look right to me.

My opinion without having them in hand, is post war production fantasy tabs.

The 38 Org book would show pre-39 second pattern insignia.
The Org book was published in 40 and 43 with the last pattern tabs (what these pair were built to be?) and do not indicate anything which would validate this pair of tabs.

Is the piping post war?... The RZM tag, eagle or pips?

who can say for sure?
the pips and eagle and tab itself don't appear to be. they fake RZM tags, but this one looks like it was already on something else, since it has a hole punched at the "23".
I think the piping was added post war and the piping would be the most likely non period thing on them.

Does anyone else here remember Delta International?

They sold tabs like this in the 1970s...yes repros but pretty well made.

I think many of us got our first pieces from them.

The bottom prong of the eagle is what pierced the 23...a prong which is now missing..

Maybe they were repiped period and used for kreis reguardless of background?or they were missing the piping.

I know political candidates had blank red tabs,were there ortz candidate blank tabs?if so maybe someone added teh insignia and piping and got it wrong?

White piping is correct for Kreisleitung level, which wore Chocolate Brown tabs.
The only thing I can find wrong is that the color appears too light to be Kreisleitung level, but this could be the photo, or even ambiguity of color. Rank is "Gemeinschaftsleiter", or "Community Leader". This not to be confused with "community organizer", which is a euphemism for "communist agitator". As for the piping, it looks ok to me.
