Ill bet somebody has a photo of them wearing this one.

Occasionally you find them with the pin not broken.

A nice Gau Munich Badge! These badges may have been awarded to Putsch Vets but they were also awarded for other reasons by the Gau Munich. It has also been shown that they continued to be awarded after the Blood Order in 1934. Here are some in wear photos of the badge.

NOW those are some top shelf photos ....I thought there had to be some shots of the badge being worn out there somewhere , and thanks for the correction on the badges use. I have always felt this badge as a underated one , and although occasionally seen for sale, one all collectors should score when possible.(even with a broken pin)

I see one photo shows its wear ABOVE the IC 1st cl.
I also feel the same about the GAU badges, and the nurnberg badge , treffen, and the stalhelm swas badge. (cant think of its name off hand is it frontbahn??)
What the heck is that neck cross....thats definitely the shiznick....that guy must have done something special to get that one. Possibly another stalhelm award?? Whatever it is it is superb. my thanks for all the great photos showing the badge in wear. I posted this one as i have not seen any on here, and thought one needed posted. I like this one as you can tell it has been worn a lot. (i also have never cleaned it)

Slight difference on pin size, but i am not sure that matters much. (IMO) I have only purchased one myself , this being the one, sometimes like even on party badges of the common type ...the pins break at the spring radius and I would figure it would be easier to just buy a new one than to replace the pin. But anythings possible , and May have been the case on this one as its backwards. Still a nice badge ,thanks for posting it . I wish i had bought all i came across in the past, it meant a lot to their owners, and looks heavier from the front. I believe all i have ever seen is the holllow back version with the wire pins. (by this same maker) They are kinda like a tinnie of sorts , but thicker . Id say you got a good scoop at 22.00. I think mine was no more than that, maybe cheaper because of the broken pin.

There were two versions probably from different makers of this badge. The other version has rounded 3's and no maker mark. Here's my Deschler.

These badges are very cheap, those i've seen for sale was priced to 80-150usd.
Is there a reason why they are low priced? Are they not popular?

As said earlier they are VERY undervalued for what they were and many don't really know their history. Also these badges never gained National recognition.
