For a particular person? You'll need large amounts of luck to find information on a particular HJ/DJ member. You'll have to hope that some documentation survives and that a collector or an archive has it.
Yea I was wondering if there was a place that held records like that, I was interested in my Grandpa’s records as well as other family members. However I guess there's no where those records are kept and are attainable now.
If your Grandpa or other family members later (after Hitler Youth) have been members of the NSDAP or related organizations there could be a personal file in the Bundesarchiv Berlin (former Berlin Document Center stock).
My Grandpa and his older brother were still kids when the war ended.
Out of the other members of my family there were only two who were NSDAP members and I have their NSDAP records. One was kicked out of the NSDAP in 1938 but was later re-instated.
My one Grandma had two uncles who went through the whole DJ program, I have their military records but I'm also interested in their Hitler Youth records.
My other Grandma had one uncle in the Hitler Youth and I was wondering about his Hitler Youth records as well. A couple of his older brothers probably went through the Hitler Youth program as well, how ever I don't have their birth dates.
Hitler Youth in general was organized on the local level of the towns. As Hitler Yout was obligatory
for every boy and girl it was not able to have a central register for the whole Reich. So the files could only have survived in local archives. As far as I know most files and registers of the HJ have been destroyed.
