It may be an original, but if so, it's very early -- definitely pre33, and I doubt it would have been displayed in a Gestapo office in 45.

His eyes look...,well....oriental....Now you need a ahot of the inside of that gestapo office to see if it can be proven. Im not sure anyone here can confirm this story, or even if the item is original. Hope springs eternal....and the reputation of the seller is also a consideration in this matter.

Note the swastika at his throat.....and the amature overall quality......plus the high quality "wall mount" (looks like plywood)....I give it a less than 10% chance of being real!

Would have to be real early.....and the GESTAPO story doesn't ring true (unless they's been confiscated BY the Gestapo for poor craftsmanship!)....

What's the back of the plaque look like (does it come out of the plywood?)
Don't mean to knock it....but doesn't "do it" for me.....

So Hitler had a chinese twin?!

No, serious: I believe one couldn't use Hitlers face on things without some sort of high authority approval (if not Hitler himself), so if real I agree a pre 1933 piece, which is in line/style with the swastika on his throat. I don't like the look/details on this one, but on the other hand on a pre 1933 piece it could be... so I can't decide yet, more photo's please.

Thanks alot for the feedback guys !
I am 100% sure the "Gestapo" note is just added to put
more attraction to the piece !
But for the Adolf piece I dont know, maybe it´s a very early piece
              of history !
I will post more detailed pics of the plaque when the sun comes up in the land of Polar Bears
              Thanks for looking !

I agree, if it´s genuine it´s an early one !
The plaque dosent come out on the back, there is only wood.

It looks amateurish, yet carefully made and cast (note the even and smooth swastika). Its' made from bronze, so we could consider this item required a certain amount of effort and money to make. That's what makes me think it's not a modern fake, but some kind of period (early) "fan-art".

The flat serface on the plaque is very flat and smooth and it has
good details so I believe the plaque is genuine early one but was put in the
                        wooden frame later on.

I have read that there was quite a lot of "Hitler" items made in the early days.
Also there was a lot of of low quality stuff and amateurish stuff made after he came to power.
So much so that legislation had to passed to regulate what was produced with Hitler and nsdap images on them.I believe the nazis even used the dreaded word "kitsch"in denouncing the stuff being churned out in his first year or so.
So....my point is, this may be one of those items.

I would guess a very early piece...as Valter put it..."fan-Art"
