    NSKK - Org.Todt

Check out these NSKK Transport Gruppe Org.Todt buttons, an e-bay offer.
The front...just plain pebbled buttons, but they're made of (painted) glass.
    (Like some KM buttons)

This is where these get interesting!
Unfortunately I was outbid...congrats to the winner.
Its surprizing that such a unit had their own stamped buttons!

Close up! These sold for $103.50!! (A WAF member perhaps?)
More than I was willing to pay... (I got outbid in a big way!). Pretty neat still.
Any uniforms out there to show with these buttons?

Just for clarification, Organization Todt and Transportgruppe Todt were two seperate organizations the former involved in construction projects and the latter furnishing transport for the military.
I hate to be cynical but these will likely show up on a made up uniform within six months.

True its "Transport Gruppe Todt" related, these buttons, an NSKK unit involved with transportation of supplies! To the military primarily but could have delivered to Org Todt projects as well...
Anyway correct, so "Todt" WITHOUT the "Org" part... that's a mistake...)
"Org. Todt" is of course another unit...builders/construction related...not this transportation Regiment.

These buttons would probably be used to make an otherwise less desirable stripped NSKK tunic into something muh more exotic...

Perhaps the selling price was not that bad after all...
                See here:
(selling these loose could make more money than a fixer-upper uniform would bring!)
