    HJ sommer mütze

Hello everybody! I got this cap from the attic today. It look like it was not worn a lot in the past. As you can see it is in top condition. It also has not any holes made from the pin or stiches of the HJ sign. Were there this caps worn also with the pins or is there just an option like in this picture (follow the link)?

If it's a M36 you need some thing like this...
          Attached Files
Straßburger / When in doubt do without...
          - Looking for : SS TK «Oberbayern» flatwire CT.

and if it's a M38 (without cloth eagle), you could use both, but regulation is "BEVO" HJ insignia.

              Hi Pascal,

I see you have some Mützen in the front row with the silver cord. I've seen these described as being for 'Führeranwärter' (leadership candidates) but have not yet been able to find anything in the regulations. Do you have any more info on these caps at all?

              Cheers

Ah, okay. I'll rephrase the question then Have you come across a Sommermütze with silver cord before? As I say, I can't find anything in the regulations about them but they would appear to exist nevertheless.

Sorry, but never come across an original silver piped HJ side cap.
Never saw one, even in a period pic

                        zivijo Spaget,
                        you should add more pictures.
Pascal anyway gave a pretty good example of how it should look like!
By the way, if Pascal wants to let go one early model... ring my door
                        Regards Zeller

that silver cord looks to have been sewn over a dark blue one imo
