Hello friend,
I have a question about the SA Sturmfahne and its corner patches.
As I am starting a WW2 museum in Mannheim,Germany, we would like to have a SA Sturmfahne from the city of Neulussheim re done. The reason is, that in Neulussheim, already in 1925 the NSDAP and SA was formed and I got all the paperwork of the Ortsgruppe and SA with numbers ect. From here, the whole southwest was "convinced" of the brown party. Goebbels, Wagner ect had speeches here. Now I konw that the first forming of the NSDAP and SA was done here in 1925 and the SA gruppe was called Sturm 10 - nothing else no Standarte ect, 2 yeras later it was Sturm 23/171 , then in 1934 it was 23/104 and in 1939 23/110 untill the end of the war. It was Gruppe kurpflaz . Now the question: How would that be done in the corner patches? With only sturm 10, how would this patch be done? Witch colors , fonts, chain stich or regular? did the flag size change in any tim?
You know we want it to look good and authentic ( and no worries it will not be sold as a real peace, it stays in the museum).
any help is very appreciated!
Thanks Dirk
