This tab would be for a member of the Staff of Brigade 38 from "Franken" if the color is true....Pre39 pattern.

Brigade 38 'Merseburg-West' was from SA Gruppe Mitte, and was located in Halle.
The color has to be more orange.

Makes more sense if the color is like the rich yellow of flight tabs. Typically Franken and Schlesien are more of a pale, cooler yellow.
Ed, that's a very nice tab and less common than a standard unit example!
