Help with a NSDAP flag

Hi guys,

Well, with the exception of the info from buddy Erich, the thread I started over in the "flags" forum hasn't really netted me the answers I was looking for, and seeing as how the majority of the experienced Political collectors tend to frequent this forum the most I though I'd post this here.

This was a vet-acquired piece purchased by me about 5 years ago through a dealer friend of mine. I'd like to know what it would have been used as; where it would have been hung and displayed. Was it a one-off piece? Would it have been displayed at the Grossauheim town hall, used in parades, marches, ceremonies etc. ???

Any help would be most appreciated. I'm also trying to place a dollar value on it. If anyone can give me a rough estimate, that would be great.

NSBO.... Interesting. I hadn't considered that.

Can anyone show an image of an actual NSBO flag, and not an illustration like the one in the link above?
