I was wondering if someone could tell me which type of gorget this belongs to. I am hoping to sell this so if someone could also tell me what I should ask for it that would be great.

These are often referred to as "Political Leader's" gorget......I believe I have also seen these (gorgets) used by the SS.....BodesComment

This chain was on the gorget of the NSDAP Standard Bearers- Standard Bearer= flag carrier of the political wing. The SS used the same gorget as the SA until they received their own model. These gorgets always had 31 links. I've seen a couple of original examples that had 32 and 33 links respectively, I don't know why. Maybe a very big neck on the wearer....Comment
