    NSKK Emblem ????

    Can you tell me what this is and if it's original.

      Interesting at first glance....but seeing the poorly painted swastika and the RZM at the base of the wreath I'd have to conclude it's not original....I've never seen any other original item that had the RZM mark on the "front" like this, and where it's a later style NSKK eagle I'd expect a makers code (on the reverse)....

      Having something to indicate the size would help identify it's intended use....
      my guess it's supposed to be a "grill" emblem for a motor vehicle....Nothing I'd want for my own collection unless it came in an unquestionable vet. lot....
      My opinion, of course.

        Thanks for the info John.
        It's about 5-1/4 inchs from wing tip to wing tip. It did come from a vet's lot that had alot of nice stuff in it but never sure what could have been added later by family because he's long gone.

          its original eagle used on plaques and 1930,s car radiators..ive seen them in period pictures mounted on cars. rzm mark is good.

            I agree with Tom Castle, it's original. They used these on plaques and awards. Looks to be in real nice condition too. It's one of my favorite items, in my NSKK collection!!
