hi to all the guys here at the forum i have a nskk sidecap that i think is for a rottenfuhrer of the nskk it has a light blue colour insignia i think for hochland/bayer ostmark am i correct in thinking this? any info would be great as i am kind of new to this game.

Yes hochland is correct (I believe = Bavaria and Austrian units also!)
This one has replaced edelweiss buttons!

Actually, Hochland used the light blue backing as did Bayerische Ostmark. The Austrian groups (as well as the others in Germany) used other colors, as in the SA. The photo of the first cap is too dark and low res. Some higher resolution photos with some light would be helpful.

erich that photo was bad sorry but to make sure i was right and thinking it was hochland
are these two better? it was a light blue.

this rottenfuhrer nskk sidecap i sold and now belongs to a fellow freind/waf member and i hope hes ok with me checking i had the right info on this piece.
