Anybody here have knowledge of bronze statues? I have been in contact with a gentleman who has a 16" Hitler bronze. The quality is what one would expect to see. Is there a lot of fake bronze statues floating around or are most crudely cast ? Thanks, Alex

There are fake bronze busts and statues, and the casting quality varies, from terrible to very good. Compared to an original, you can tell the difference, but the higher quality pieces might be a bit of a challenge for someone not familiar with the original piece that the fake is based on.

the poorer copies lack the details, but of late, there has been better made copies with the right markings. most are cast in bronze or pot metal.
other than the hitler pieces, some are SA troops, eagles, etc.Comment
