German Gold Eagle with Swastika

I wasnt really sure which category this should go in, so here it goes. I found this eagle with swastika recently. It is made from a composition material, much like a hard thin paper mache. It is hollow and measures about 10 inches tall. If you know what this is or would have been used for please let me know.

I think it is a copy made from plaster cast. the details are not there. remember in the 3rd reich, everything (or nearly everything) was made to a very high detail with expert craftswork. the details just look very vague.

are there any markings on it?
