    NSKK Summer Weight Tunic

I had not seen one of these before, and couldn't find reference to it in Angolia's NSKK book. Has anyone seen a HBT type NSKK uniform of this type before?

                    Hi Robert,

Interesting looking uniform, although way out of my small world of collecting police uniforms. If you haven't already, I would suggest posting this NSKK tunic to the Political Orgs uniform forum. If need be, I can either send the thread there or copy it there for you. Just let me know.

                      Hi
open your "Angolia's NSKK book" page 294, you will see the same tunic.
                      Cheers

                        Hello Guy,

It's sure close. The tunic in the book is described as having a five button closure; this one has six, and the shoulderboards are sewn in to mine and made from the identical material as the rest of the tunic. I agree they are from the same family, though.

Dave, I would appreciate you moving it into the proper political section - I guess I just defaulted to my beloved police forum section!

                        regards, Robert

                          Hi Robert
Look at the pic better. There is a 6th button hole : the description is wrong!
Shoulderboards sewn or not its the same model.
                          Cheers

You're right; I see the sixth bottonhole now. It looks like they changed the collar and the boards out, but it's the same type of tunic. Thanks! regards, Robert
