HJ Diamond Patch, Real or Fake?

Here’s a couple of diamond patches, not exactly sure where these would go (possibly a cap?). Was told that these are not originals, any comments?

The diamond measures 2 ¼ X 1 ¼ (5.7 cm x 3.2 cm).
