I wish to preface my comments that I am not any form of authority on medals and badges. That said, to me, the enamel work is subpar to the quality exhibited on the original examples I once handles.Comment

Been looking at these myself. Did a close comparison with the A.H. signature against some examples from Wolfe-Hardin collection, and found some major differences. Don't know what that makes these though.

Well, HE may be, but we don't know about his friend. The description says "vet acquired" but doesn't say pre-1945 guaranteed original. Besides, people have been known to fudge the truth in militaria collecting (hard to believe, I know.)

I know there aren't many of these. They are stunning and easily my favorite TR award. I have only read about them and don't know details or numbers produced but isn't it odd that for a prestigous and uncommon award they aren't marked at all??? Is this typical?Comment
