I saw those, not sure what to make of them, they apear to be a 2nd class and a 3rd class German Order.

I wish to preface my comments that I am not any form of authority on medals and badges. That said, to me, the enamel work is subpar to the quality exhibited on the original examples I once handles.

Been looking at these myself. Did a close comparison with the A.H. signature against some examples from Wolfe-Hardin collection, and found some major differences. Don't know what that makes these though.

                German Order

I don't know about the pinback cross but the neck order looks quite promissing. Where can I see better photos? Please post a link!

They are on an obscure website, which I cannot recall right now. I will see if I can find it.

Here is a link to the site, I know the gentleman who owns the site, pretty straightup man and honest.

Well, HE may be, but we don't know about his friend. The description says "vet acquired" but doesn't say pre-1945 guaranteed original. Besides, people have been known to fudge the truth in militaria collecting (hard to believe, I know.)

                        Any further opinions?

I know there aren't many of these. They are stunning and easily my favorite TR award. I have only read about them and don't know details or numbers produced but isn't it odd that for a prestigous and uncommon award they aren't marked at all??? Is this typical?

It is interesting that the suspender on the 2nd class is not attached to the Cross?

perhaps the owner of the website is, but the seller Scott is just a crook.
