    Hitler Youth triangle font question?

This is a partial picture of a triangle that I am considering. It's on a dealers site so I think it's best not to post the full picture. It's a Nord Nordsee triangle. I am concerned about the top left part of the letter "N". The line is going downward. On all other pictures of the capital N that I have been able to locate on other triangles the line is going upward. Is this a correct variation? Thanks, Mike

Also this question was asked of Wim Saris on World War Militaria forum and this was his response.

"Yes, what was not noted in any HY book there are two main types of lettering:
the late 1933 form, as when they were introduced and the form as from 1936 and shown in the Herstellungsvorschriften. The 1933-form is always recognizable by the form of nicer capitals and other details in the other letters.
The later 1936 form one can find in many variations, mainly caused by the individual manufacturers.

I know you all have to wait for a while, but I do explain things in my coming HY-handbook and show many triangles so collectors can compare. In the captions I often explain the differences in the lettering, even if they are not noticable or when of interest.
In chapter 1 about Gebiets-triangles I do show about 180 of them from all kinds of districts and variations. In a later chapter I do show many forms for special formations."

I have learned from the HJ Research Forum that this is an acceptable font. Here are some pictures of my triangle. This is the first HJ triangle in my collection with the traditions tresse. Mike

Heres a closeup of one of the three snaps on the back so the triangle could be removed before washing the shirt.
