    Need help for Kepi Eagle

Came across this SA Political Kepi eagle. It has been marked M5/9.

    Weren't all insignias marked M1 / --?

perhaps someone could shed some light on it?

Were'nt the WH belt buckles supposed to have only maker markings and no RZM ?
Or HJ belt buckles to have only M4/... makings.... Of course yes, but some originals did'nt! Who knows why ?

            Eagle

Photo was removed!! "M5" was for uniform fittings, not insignia. It was either struck in error, or a fake. I'd put my money on the latter. It should DEFINITELY be a "M1" code.

              my M1/8

Just thought while the subject was present, I'd post my kepi "bird".
              Designed by A.H., I've read?
I'm curios to value of this marked example? ( guessing, around $100.00?)
(sorry the "thread starter" was a dud.)
              Thanks in advance.
              Pauli

                Photobucket removed the pic.

As for the Kepi eagle Wuffy just posted, the value is around US$45 to $75 depending on the condition and maker. The one you have is around US$50 IMO.
