    Hello. I am considering buying this item. Does anyone think it might be a political blouse with HJ insignia attached? I am referring to the leather buttons mainly. There is no RZM tag unfortunately. Thanks all, Tom

    The insignia is a very good match. The boards are early pattern pre 1936, post 1934 regulation and the triangle is also the first pattern pre 1936, note the elegant style lettering. As for the buttons, I have seen numerous varaitions on HJ items in this regard, from plain brass, to the plastic style to leather. It's not a textbook shirt in every sense of the word, but IMO it's a good one. Another note on the shoulder straps, these may be the transitional variety in between the time period when the Obberbann system was abolished and the straps listing HJ specialty were introduced, around 1936 but prior to 1938 according to the NSDAP organisation book, third edition. The straps in this time period are a little confusing sometimes, here's a link to more information about them.
