opinions on badge - help needed!

Any opinions on this coburg badge? i was told most were solid and none were hollowed out. I'd like to hear some opinions on this one.
i have other concerns also but i'd like to hear first.

    many thanks.

Definitely a reproduction, and likely an older fake=the newer reproductions are, in some cases, more accurate. The easiest way to tell these are bad are the missing 'dots' between the wording and the dates at 4:00 and 8:00. After you get past that, nearly every detail and construction type is incorrect.
I hope it wasn't too expensive!

Original badges are very rare and expensive. Use do care and do your homework on these badges before purchasing one.

The best way to answer your question is to look at The Coburg Badge thread and compare yours to the three original badges posted there to see the many differences.
