SA Brigadeführer Collar Tab

I don't normally collect SA, but this tab came with some SS insignia I just bought and I thought I would try to learn more about it.

I believe that the black background is for the Berlin-Brandenburg district. Is that correct? Also, can someone explain why the bullion is gold, instead of silver?

It is for SA Gruppe Neiderrhein not Berlin. They used gold and black. Nice tab.
