Ordensburg Vogelsand NAMED Tunic & Pants

I am in need of the Political sections help. Over this past weekends gun show I had a vendors part time helper approach me. This fellow is a German immigrant from Bayreuth, Bavaria and currently works as a firefighter on the west coast of Florida. On Saturday he stopped by my booth but didn't say anything. On Sunday he brought in two uniforms from family members and sold them to me. The first is this tunic and pants which belonged to his godfather who's name was Wolfgang Kelbel. I don't know NSDAP political stuff at all as I concentrate on items related to the combat arms. I have learned what the Ordensburg Vogelsang was but I am not quite sure if this is an instructors tunic or a students tunic. All I know presently about Kelbel is that he went on to become a member of the SS.

Please tell me what I have and an approximate value (I have an idea) as I am going to sell it seeing that I don't collect in this area.

You have an instructor (officers) tunic for the Ordensburgen Vogelsang.
The school closed in about 1942 if I recall right. Bob Coleman and/or Jeff Clark have your tunic's "twin". I think Jeff is on vacation right now, and I will see if Bob would be willing to give you some more info.

I am going to add some more pictures of this set on a manniquin. There was a question whether the pants belonged to this individual or to "uncle Willie". I am certain that the pants do belong to this set, or at least to the original owner as the man was portly and the pants would fit such physical attributes. Uncle Willie was a much slimmer man and these pants would not fit him.

With these pictures I will show the small moth holes and one period repair that this tunic has had made to it. The moth holes that are on the exterior are found on the left waist just behind the arm (which are hidden by the addition of a belt) and they are pretty small. They are hardly noticeable. The other moth hole is about the size of a peanut and are found on the inside just below the last buttonhole. The period repair is on the right cuff, facing rearward (can't be seen very well or much at all from straight on). The yellow marks are where each of these flaws can be found.
