Though she was not in the march in 1922, Lina Peschel lived in Coburg on Kanonenweg. And after the march, she joined the party in her early 40s. She was an Altparteigenossin and received GPB 6183. Here is one of three letters sent by respective Political Leaders to her on her 60th birthday. This one from the Kreisleiter of Kreisleitung Coburg.

She also received letters from her Gauleiter, Fritz Wachtler, and her Ortsgruppenleiter of Coburg-Nord. I had Peschel's GPB Besitzurkunde at one time but traded it off as a favor to a long-time friend to secure a GPB Besitzurkunde to match a GPB in his collection.

Many thanks for resurrecting this wonderful artifact, Joe. A great document for any Coburg collection!

A very Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours,

And a very Happy Thanksgiving to you. And to all our forum members.

I am sure everyone one has noticed that Photobucket has backed down and opened all images on their site for free, but with the watermark. At least for now.

Thanks very much, Joe! That said, there is still something wrong with the WAF log-on system here; I have to go through extra steps just to get into the site and be recognized. I hope this doesn't go on for too much longer; it's quite annoying...though it's better than not being able to access the WAF site at all!

          Cheers, my friend,

          Br. James

                    Coburg Plate Count

                    Updated Coburg Plate list:

                    Plate List

ErichS (1 - has since been sold)
Jon Fish (2 or 3, Found and, I believe sold, one. Not sure if they are 2 different plates)
                    Winkler (1 - broken/repaired)
                    Auction (1)
                    M. Zimmer (2 - one boxed)
                    A friend (1)
                    I own one (1)
                    Ratisbon's (1)
                    Griffin Militaria (1)
                    Coburg Stadtarchiv (1)
                    M. Zimmer's friends (2)
                    Military (1)
                    Master Bo (2)
Master Bo's friend, Maxim Verakin (1)
Richard V (1- might be same plate from Winkler but not sure)

So that is a maximum of 20 plates. This does not take into account/consideration that some of those listed above might be double counted (i.e. sold by one member and purchased later by someone else and listed again)
