These were framed and came in at least two sizes.

This is a Rosenthal Adolf Hitler Porcelain Plaque of Adolf Hitler; from the famous painting by Willi Exner. Reverse marked with gilt "Rosenthal" logo and gilt lettering "Der Führer Gemälde von Willi Exner" or "The Leader Painting by Willi Exner". They came in at least 2 sizes; smaller size, about 7.50 X 9.50 in size and larger 10.25 X 12.50 in size. I have one of each on my web site.

"Der Fuhrer" by Willi Exner

Does anyone know whether the original painting survived the war? Does it still exist - either in a museum or in a private collection. I assume this would be a valuable painting in today's market.

Willi Exner and his art

I am looking also for information on Willi Exner and his art - what other paintings he did,, was he some sort of "official" Third Reich artist, are there any other works by him still in existance, and biographical details - did he survive the war? etc. Also any sales information for any of his works. Thanks to WAF members for any info.
