      Thanks BR James. I had Mike at Westmoreland pull his file - and there are maybe a dozen more pages to go through. I thought the translated example above was particularly interesting as Kroll seemed to have petitioned for his badges due to a mishap in his membership.

                  Maybe but it has character and it was not a drawer queen which is appealing to me.

                    He was Cham's mayor ("1. Bürgermeister" at lower right) between May 1, 1935 and May 1, 1945.

                      That's a good length of time, quite a feat. He would have seen some amazing events and changes over those years. Victory to utter defeat.

                              Here are a couple more. Firstly a Fuess GPB, No.14748 belonging to Ludwig Hermannsdorfer from Kreis Strubing - Gau Bayerische Ostmark.

                              Also a large GBP with the military pin, No.83042 belonging to Hans Eibensteiner- Ortsgruppenleiter, Bezirksleiter & Gauschulungsredner in Weitra -Gau Neiderdonau.
