Very interesting thread! Now I am a bit puzzled because I have a bluse very similar which now is disputed amongst a couple of attribution.
Is it DAF, DJ Leiter or HJ?
Dome remarks:

1) it has 5 hooks instead of 6
2) the lining is a bit different
3) there are not visible markings
4) the plastic buttons are DJ-HJ marked
5) it is quite a small size (I would say 15-16 years)
6) the district triangle seem period attached
7) it came originally with a hauptgefolgschaftsführer set of boards, but with wrong Bann

Any idea?

Sorry, yes my jacket also got a pocket. But not a big one. A smaller one and higher than yours. Mine is behind the breast pocket

And I see another thing that is different. The inside of my jacket (sleeves) are white with blue stripes.

Anyway's, I like your jacket, but I don't understand why HJ an DAF had the same jackets.

other differences I noticed:

1) different number and position of the rams
2) eyelet on the collar not present on mine
3) belt loop not present on mine
4) larger inside pocket and different lining
5) all the buttons are DJ-HJ market
6) buttons and triangle look period applied

so... I am totally confused

I trust WAF and the HJ forum...I am sure that a guy with the right answer will show up here or there soon....or at least I hope so! I have posted also some more pics there, you should consider to register in order to see the pics. I did not want to go too OT here. By the way, I love your DAF uniforms!

Zeller, mine does have a pocket but small, only 15 cm. Any chance this is a converted DAF tunic? Maybe the DAF member out grew it and it was then used as an HJ.
