      Hello Erich,
Just copy the link and paste it into your message. Is it the set of old Gauleiter articles? I ran across those as well.

One of the interesting things talked about in this article is Hitler's BO. Steve Wolfe now owns the Brown shirt and BO mentioned numbered 1. With some BOs being un- numbered and holes in the list of recipients it adds to their lore IMO.

I remember these from the old Gauleiter --in fact, I still have at least Mickey Huffman's article. Some of the info has been somewhat superseded, but the AH/Brückner BO info is still very interesting.

I have Micky Huffman's book on Hitlers favorite Political decorations which is one of the better reference books IMO. but I don't think it's still in print.

Many years ago I go to examine Mohawk Arms Hitler's Shirt and the Blood Order in question. The engraving of the number one is unique and when you see it in person you will not forget the way it is engraved. This shirt was at the center of a law suit that Mohawk Arms had with the veteran and his wife and the Government of Bavaria and the out come was that Mohawk Arms did own the shirt and the awards. It is listed in some Business Law books from the late 1960s.

                      Hi Jon & Ron,

Do you have a picture of this "hand style engraving" that both of you talked about.
It would be interesting to see them side by side.

                      Cheers,
                      Ibrahim,

sorry I cant post it as the owner does not want it in the public domain.

Sorry, no photos and I don't think they will want it publicly shown as it is unique and probably could be copied enough to add confusion if you know what I mean.

I've seen the AH shirt and BO--very interesting pieces. For me, the history of the pieces and the direct hand-to-hand documentation of their path from Germany to the owners was extremely important. If not for that, I wouldn't have been convinced of their authenticity. Very unusual Blood Order number, that's for sure!

Ron, not unique, as I said SD's BO has the same engraving style.
