Hello to all,

Posting this for a friend. I already told him it is a fake (and a horrible one at that), but figured we would post it here to get other opinions. Any and all assistance is welcome.

Notice the split suspension ring. The 900 and '21' stampings do not look at all correct and I am not going to even try getting a closeup photo of them. The '21' looks like it was stamped over some other pre-existing number. I doubt that this piece is even made out of real silver. The gilt finish also looks phony in my opinion.

Also, please check out the ribbon bar. I have never seen a device like this before, but it looks absolutely horrible.

I don't think it's a horrible copy (there are far worse on the market) but I agree it's not a proper piece--it looks like it might be cast, judging by the slightly weak details to the eagles.
