Show of Shows SA Kepi purchase

Well, I finally found the Kepi I have been looking for. I needed an early Nordmark kepi to go with the SA uniform I picked up at a local auction about a year ago. I didn't break the bank for it either. Hope you like it, I love it. It definately has that been there look and also looks to have had the green fabric possibly added when regulations changed. The button is significantly worn and depending on how you look at it could go either way as far as gold or silver. If it is in fact silver, at least I am close to correct. I do have question though, most kepis seem to have the vent gromets, a few I have seen do not. Any significant reason? Thanks for looking. -Ron

Great find! And not the easiest color to find, either, and it looks perfect with the uniform. Most kepis had grommets but not all, and if the color band was added per regulations, there may be grommets underneath the green wool--I've got a couple like that.
