All opinions welcome on this hj armband,the service stamp is very faint but you can just make out the diamond...the armband is not as clean as in the photos and the white stripe and triangle is an off white colour with some stains...

Hello It could be an early on that some one has put a tag on? Most of these I have seen that have an original RZM tag in have been bevo woven. Try a black light test on it. That will tell you alot. Best regards.Comment

Regulations forbade the stamping of HJ armbands so the stamp alone would put me off this armband. The overall look of the armband is atypical in my opinion.Comment

HJ Armband
I have said this many times in this forum before, and I'll say it again unless someone can prove me wrong with a period photograph - I have yet to see an original, period-made German armband for any organization done using the zig-zag pattern material like on the swastika of your armband. This zig-zag pattern material is being widely used in adding white and also black stripes/borders on all of the reproduction SS, early NSDAP leader, HJ, SA reserve, fantasy NSFK, and DDAC armbands that I have seen. I wish I had better news for you, but I am convinced the zig-zag pattern tape is modern cloth, never used by the Germans ever (not even to this day). Good luck to you, ChrisComment

The band used for the swas is called 'bias-band'. It is used for making curtains for instance. Definitely not goodComment
