        Hello Martin,

I see a nice and worn original piece with no damage and with its original ribbon. I like it very much.

In my opinion it´s worth is in the range of 350 - 400 Euro.

        Best Regards

I disagree this medal is not good IMO. The wreath is incorrect and the sun rays merge into the arms of the cross.

Erich, I saw the low contrast between the rays and the cross arms, but I dídn´t give a big importance to this point. Do you know any fake with this characteristic?
About the wreath, I can´t see anything wrong. Could you tell us why it´s incorrect in your oppinion?

All the originals that I have inspected never have the rays over lapping the arms of the cross. The leaves looked too well defined on the wreath as well. I do have issues with this cross but some of them may be due to the photos.

There is a fake 15 year that has the rays overlapping the cross arms -- I'm sure a picture of it is in the forum somewhere. But, I don't see that here. I think it's just the pics that are throwing you off. It looks good to me.

The fakers have never quite gotten the blue enamel right.

I have to agree with Curt. Every fake I've ever seen has never been able to do justice to the original's enameling. This one looks OK to me. I've often wondered about comments often made that these should all have a subdued silver finish on the frame, much as this one, as I have seen several that have aspects of known originals but have a very polished silver looking frame.
