C.T. marked tableware - what is it?

I have a small plate that is marked with the maker Tielsch-Altwasser, the year 1942, an eagle and the initials C.T. Does anyone know if the initials indicate that this plate was made for a specific organisation and if so, what was that organisation? Cheers, Torsten.

Hi Torsten, "CT" stands for Carl Tielsch.Altwasser is the town where they were located.

        Cheers, Ade.

Hi Adrian, ah ... so CT is simply part of the logo used by the maker and it does not denote any specific organisation ... thank you, mystery solved .... Cheers, Torsten.

hi torsten, heres a pic. of the mark on a prewar plate, yours is nice with the 1942 date on it, but as already said, they made tableware for common use, so no military connection.. but who knows who might have used it!! -nigel1937-4.jpg
