    KdF Wagen / Volkswagen

    Hi

I wonder if anyone has any Third Reich period photos of the KdF Wagen / Volkswagen? Such as postcards or period news photos?

I have examples of the original prospectus that was published as well as the booklet entitled Der KdF-Wagen ... von A bis Z. These have great pictures of the Käfer in the minutest detail.

If you'd like, I can post scans of these items.

"Der KdF-Wagen" is literally a manual showing all mechanical aspects of the car inside and out.

Here's the A bis Z manual. It's full of photos of all the mechanical features of the Käfer. Nearly a service manual in itself.

Here's the foreword to the A bis Z manual as written by Robert Ley.

I'll post further pictures from these publications when I have the opportunity to scan them.

For now, I'll post the cover to a game from the period that features the Käfer. This item belongs to a close friend, but how I wish it belonged to me!

I nearly forgot to post a scan of a little brochure also published back in the day.
