Just got this at the SOS yesterday. This one has the holes for mounting on a plaque. I've seen some without the holes.(Ron's eagle on page #9) Mine has a 4.5" wingspan, and enamel letters and swastika. This is one of my favorite eagles.

Reverse. It has RZM and Ges. Gesch. markings. Assmann is the maker (left side).

Excuse my ignorance but what is a 'back light' test?
I've noticed people referring to it as a method of validating authenticity on some items and I do get it.
