    Two Unknown Cuff Titles

A friend of mine just sent me these two cuff titles, because he lknows I like SA and Political items.

Is anyone familiar with the two titles?

Both are uniform removed and used.

    Thank you,
    Bob Hritz

Bob, here is a link on some info for Shlageter. I hope it helps a bit. Mike.

I know of Albert Leo Schlegeter. I just can't figure out the cuff titles. I have no reference to these titles in any of my research. Both are original. Bob Coleman believes they may be Freikorps or Stahlhelm. I do not know.

Bob, my opinion would be later than Freikorps. The style cufftitle seems to be similar to the RZM type. Maybe a forerunner to that style. Just my two cents. Mike.

Quite possible to be commemorative titles worn above their component or unit title. Perhaps some reserve unit of retirees could have worn these too.

The Schlegeter c/t is a commemorative I just can not remember if it is Political or SA> I have one that does not have the date with it. It is bevo flatwire but is done on a rayon band. the material is like that which is around uncut breast eagles, a flat smooth rayon. The second one seem to fit in more with a foreign service branch. It is very similiar in construction to the Danish SS unit titles. The name also seems to fit one of the Nordic countries more than Germany but have you checked the list of title names for all of the Allgemeine SS units . Just some thoughts. Mike
