No badges or insignia or cloth related items but something a little different that touches across many of the TR Organizations. Hope you like it!
I thought I would show these Elastolin marching soldiers consisting of various TR organizations to include SS, SA, RAD, HJ, NSKK and others! Also, there is a figure of Hitler where I have him sitting at a podium during review. These were all brought back from Germany by my father and were given to him by a German man and his family who he befriended near the end of the war. He did not take receipt of them immediately when he left Germany in June of 1945 but rather when he returned during the latter part of 1949 and they reunited.
This is all that my mother was able to remember regarding the origin of these toy soldiers. There are about 100 pieces total in this set. As far as we can determine, these pieces were kept in shoeboxes wrapped in soft paper for at least 35-45 years. I discovered them in 2003. Since that time I have added 3 pieces to the collection and will look to add more of these Elastolin marching soldiers if I can find them.
Would like to see other members show their Elastolin or same period type soldiers as well.
