I agree with Consi: a great display -- congrats!! Is it possible for you to provide other photos of this diorama from other angels? Great work!

Thanks for sharing the link to your site -- you're quite a gifted modeller! As to your comment: "Ok, let's turn this into a 1/35 modelling-forum," there already is such a forum here. Check out the "Model Building and Display Forum" under the section titled "Community Forums" on the main page.

Best of luck, and thanks again,

Blood order searching for its GPB # 14 297

I have had this blood order for several years, and enjoy owning it. There are at least 2 Gold party badges # 14 297, in circulation that belonged to the same owner.

One day it would be great to put them together :glass

              SS Sturmbannfuhrer Edward Hiebel.
Hiebel served on Himmlers personal staff from 1934-1939

Let me know if you can help

Thanks for your PM in respect to this earlier post: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...4&postcount=44

But I do not have any information on the owner(s) of Hiebel's GPBs. Neither do I recall where the file on Hiebel was available from, sorry.

I wish to show you some photos of the first cased blood order I've purchased.
According to the previous owner it was awarded to a certain "Hans MANN" supposed to belong to the SS. He explained to me how he bought the BO directly from him back in 1969 and that he also attended his funeral 1 year later.
However the name is not in the Patzwall among the BO recipients so I thought "well buy the BO, not the story..."

Yesterday I received the research results from Rob McDivitt:
BO #2909 was awarded to ... Franz HANSMANN (!), SS Untersturmführer.
Recipient of GPB 53373 and the Totenkopfring

Congrats! A fine artifact, made the more so by Rob McDivitt's excellent research.
