    Jugend Books

    Gents,

After picking up a number of the DJ Kriegs-bucherei series, I have found these two additional books with them. I have searched on the net, using titles, the author etc, all to no avail.

Can someone help me with what they are and give me some background info. I assume that they are of the same ilk as the DJ series. The heft numbers are 2 & 3.

One is written by Dr Martin Lezius, the other by Karl Nemann.

As usual your help is very much appreciated.

    Regards

    Steve

Both booklets are available in German public libraries. Martin Lezius (Panzer rücken vor, 1939) has written about 38 publications, most of them dealing with war.

The author's name is Karl Neumann (not Nemann). Also his publication (Bunker und Pioniere,1939) is available in German libraries.

Both booklets have been published in the "Verlag für Militärgeschichte und Deutsches Schrifttum", Bad Saarow.

The series "Kriegsbüchere der Deutschen Jugend" as a very public and wide spread publication.

      Gerdan,

Am I right in saying that these are WW2 period books then? I am a bit confused.

        Steve,

        try

        http://www.mcsammel.de/romanhefte/de...rei_dt_jugend/

Here you find a list of more than 155 publications in that series. Indeed they have been published during WWII.

          Gerdan,

Thanks for all of your help. I can see the Kriegsbucherei, but not the 2 that I have shown below.

          Regards

The exact name of this special series was "Der Krieg" :

Neumann, Bunker und Pionier no 3
Lezius, Panzer rücken vor no 2
