    Buttons - PL???

    Found these in a bag in one of my fathers footlocker. Can someone validate that the 3 buttons on the top row are for Political Leaders? Also, the aluminum silver number buttons - would these be worn on hats or were the part of the insignia on shoulder boards?

        The eagle buttons are indeed for PL, and the numbered buttons for epaulettes.
