NPEA "Ernst Roehm" Ploen Song Book!

Picked this up recently and I would imagine it is rather rare. Not only because it is NPEA (first time I've ever seen an NPEA song book) but also because it has the honour name for the Ploen School, i.e. "Ernst Roehm". This was of course done away with following the Night of the Long Knives and Rohm's erasure from NSDAP history. As such, I would imagine only a very limited number of these books were ever produced, let alone survived beyond the Purge.

If only the dedication were handwritten!

It's interesting: I found the same title/booklet in two different used book shop offers: one for 250,-- € and the other for only 20,-- €

This looks to be a 1933 edition and they describe the signature as original.

What year of publication is the other example you have spotted?

Post-purge songbook

I have the a copy of the same songbook, but post-Roehm purge. Someone scratched on the Roehm name on the fly-leaf so hard it wore a hole in it!

The cover had been replaced, so the Roehm dedication was not there.
